Bacteriostatic Water 3ml — Reconstitution Diluent

Sterile water for injection preserved with 0.9% benzyl alcohol, supplied in a 3ml multi-dose vial for reconstituting lyophilised research peptides. The benzyl alcohol content inhibits bacterial growth across multiple draws, making it the standard diluent choice over plain sterile water when a vial needs to stay usable for more than a single use.

Handling Notes

Once opened, the benzyl alcohol preservative is what keeps repeated draws safe from contamination — but that protection has a shelf life of its own once the vial’s been breached.

After opening: refrigerate at 2-8°C, use within 28 days
Always draw with a fresh sterile needle each time to avoid introducing contaminants

Quality Control

Manufactured to pharmaceutical-grade sterile water standards. Certificates of Analysis are supplied on request.

Scope of Use

Sold strictly for laboratory and analytical research use, intended as a reconstitution diluent for research peptides. Not manufactured, tested, or labelled for human injection, veterinary use, or any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose.

Common Questions

How fast does it ship? Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 1pm, from UK-held stock.

Why bacteriostatic water instead of plain sterile water? The benzyl alcohol preservative allows safe multiple draws from the same vial, whereas plain sterile water is single-use only once opened.

Can I use this with any peptide? It’s suitable as a general-purpose diluent for most lyophilised research peptides — check the specific peptide’s reconstitution guidance for any exceptions.
